Does anyone else hear David Archuletta "gasping" when he sings? (STILL!!!!)?

I'm watching the VH1 countdown and David Archuletta is #1 with some little teeny bopper song and I hear him gasping like he did on American Idol. It makes me feel like I can't breathe! LOL. He sings a line and then gasps, sings again, gasps. That's what bugged me so much about him when he was on American Idol...you'd think he would have learned how to fix that.
